Pretty much. It’s incredibly tiring
In a 100 years it might, after our current world order has been consumed by the effects of unimpeded climate change. There’s hope yet for the Palestinians to have a go. /s
Nuclear fission is not paying for the biggest externality either, its waste products. That for some reason seems to be the people’s problem. And even then there doesn’t exist a permanent storage solution for it as of today anywhere on the planet (yes, I know Finland thinks they have it figured out next year, but at a capacity of 5500t it will only hold the waste of the 5 Finnish reactors). It’s absolute insanity to me how this gets brushed away so easily.
Don’t live in your idiotic country so this one’s gonna be on you chief.
Such a narrow minded take. Would you sleep fine if your not voting gets Trump elected and he ends up bombing the shit out of the middle east because his looney zealot friends want the world to end? What if it came down to one vote? How would your stupid ass sleep then?
Is pistol whipping included in the right to bear arms? I’m sure the founding daddys intended it.
Yup and then they constantly seem to end up embarrassed by the lack of preparation. Any EDC nerd would have more useful tools for an away mission compared to the average Star Trek explorer.
The cheapest 256 SATA SSD i can find is 15€. The cheapest 512 GB is 24€. That’s a 9€ difference for double the capacity at retail prices. I can only imagine how marginal the cost savings for a big manufacturer like valve would be.
Ok, but hear me out, we can make atoms go boooooom so what about that???
I use adguard. Bought the app years ago and I couldn’t be happier. It’s especially great because some secure apps break with their traffic routed through it and it’s super easy to configure.
I keep offering my partner a way out via either a pi hole or (my current setup) adguard. They literally don’t want it. Why? It doesn’t bother them and sometimes you have to watch the ads for perks in games. Even tried to show them that you can have per App rules etc.
But no. It’s not a big deal. Using any of their devices gives me an aneurysm, I keep forgetting how bad mobile ads and browser ads are. Smh
All you do is attack the way I’m arguing, which you don’t seem enjoy. I don’t understand what the point of that is.
I’m not even disagreeing with your critic of the IDF. I just need to point out the absolute stupidity of your comment
French resistance during the second world war knew the Nazis would retaliate; they still operated and hid within the civilian population. There are former towns in France where only crumbling stone, abandoned cars, and a plaque to the dead remains, a vow to never rebuild and never forget. Everyone was killed and their homes burned in reprisal for maquis activity.
Are you saying the French women and children murdered by Nazis are the fault of the French partisans? Is this a grey moral area for you?
Are you siding with the Nazis, huh? HUH?
That’s just not necessary, nor a particularly pleasant debate style.
But I’m not getting that through to you. So enjoy your weekend!
What you absolutely lose track of while arguing is not whether what the IDF is doing wrong - it is. It is the way you’re arguing.
This conflict won’t be resolved by blaming only one side while glorifying the other. And glorifying Hamas is what you are doing when you are equaling them to the French partisans.
I’m open to the actual argument, that being are they in fact using human shields, and what is the IDFs responsibility in protecting these civilians. And funnily enough I agree with you here. Killing civilians is wrong no matter who does it. As is collective punishment.
What are you debating?
That it’s okay for Hamas to use civilian infrastracture as the base for their military operations?
That the IDF should refrain from attacking those targets because of the civilian casualties?
That the IDF is the same as the German Waffen-SS troops that massacred 642 men, women, and children before burning the village Oradour-sur-Glane to the ground? I assume you read the article you linked to.
Honestly based on your post I was not sure, so I went with the premise that you think it’s okay for Hamas to use civilian infrastructure because they’re basically french partisans.
Which I would argue they are not, because one (the partisans) were specifically targeting the invading force, while the other (Hamas) has a long history of specifically targeting civilians
Are you equating an organisation that attacks helpless civilians to the French partisans?
I disliked the truth of what you wrote so much, I initially downvoted you.
It’s the ultimate test of how much you love the almighty. It’s really for your benefit bro, thrust me.
Well now the government knows? That’s assuming they didn’t know and / or haven’t been informed ahead of publication. I don’t see where the danger in having this information available publicly is?
