Sorry for the late reply - thanks for the recs! I have read and enjoyed Zelazny so I’ll definitely check out the other ones :)
Which would you personally recommend? I’ve enjoyed his writing, as well as Rothfuss and (other end of the spectrum) Pratchett. Sanderson is a good world builder but his writing style doesn’t always jive with me, for whatever reason
I’ve been eagerly waiting for this release! Trailers looked amazing and the demo they put out was super fun. Hope it’s a smash hit for the team!
Thunder is really good and always improving!
That’s probably right - I interpreted it as “one can’t take advantage of a new ruling if the event already happened,” but I may be out of my depth here!
Ex post facto, yeah - believe that’s the term at play here
I often buy albums on Bandcamp and supposedly artists get a good cut of that. They have an app too, so you can stream content from there (or self host the files you get when you buy)
I’ve yet to play BB (unfortunately) but can confirm they consistently knock it out of the park with their DLC. Very, very excited for this one!
Sounds interesting! I loved Nioh 2 but bounced off Wo Long (only played the demo of that one), will definitely check this out
Yeah yeah yeah!
I haven’t tried them but I often hear about people modding “potato mode” versions of games (pretty sure one is already out for Starfield and Friends, for example) - fighting game players sometimes use them even if their systems are good to minimize any hitches that would screw up their inputs in a match.
I’m not sure to what degree that sort of thing runs on Deck because of how Proton works, but theoretically that combined with the Deck’s other performance-enhancing modes will help some games run better for you!
If you like proggy stuff I’d definitely check out Arch Echo, they’re incredible. If you like acoustic stuff then Rodrigo y Gabriela are also a great listen, and so is Kaki King (though I mostly only know her older stuff)
We todd, did
What part of cleaning your ass could be misconstrued as gay? Feels like an unnecessary aside, haha. Thanks for the step by step though, that makes sense!
Could be off base here, but for me an album can be a fairly emotional experience. If it’s something you’ve spent years listening to you may be feeling emotions (knowingly or otherwise) from your past experiences. I don’t know if it’s the feeling you’re feeling, but I often find myself pleasantly exhausted after a good album :) and it’s good to take a break after a couple of those, in the same way you usually wouldn’t watch several movies back to back!
I don’t see you That’s true, you don’t. For all you know, they do boycott those things.
What the heck :( that’s so dumb!
Wait, really? I just watched an episode of season 2 on there yesterday
Eternal Sunshine would be on my list for sure, hahah. Such an amazing film. It would also be incredible to listen to Scenes from a Memory or Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence again (two of Dream Theater’s best albums). Hard agree with the other person who mentioned Fullmetal Alchemist, too. Good question, OP!
