When I worked for a guy who kept chickens in the back yard, the eggs came out in every shade from dark brown to white, and some had freckles. I don’t know how they get them to be just two uniform colours (brown/white) in the grocery store, but I assume the white ones must be bleached. Some are naturally brown, others may be dyed.
But I agree that we should be suspicious whenever marketing is involved.

My mom has one, and the door handles are so awkward, I really don’t think I’ll ever get used to them. From the inside, it’s easy enough, but it’s also just a button, with no physical unlatching mechanism, and the window has to go down slightly when the door opens, so I would not want to be in there if it lost power.
She does generally like the thing though.
Anyone who works nights, or an evening job that runs late like a bar or something, is currently used to having the date change in the middle of their “day”. Also not OP but my local grocery stores all have highly realistic fake butter nowadays. I’m no pastry chef but it seems to work just fine in any recipe that calls for butter, and it’s cheaper than the cow stuff 😁
