Yeah I could see C working with some colour inspiration from the current icon perhaps
Add me to the “unfortunately I don’t think any of them are great and can’t/won’t single out one to vote for, but truly appreciate all the effort that’s been put in” list
Even exact matches with quotes don’t seem to be as useful these days. Google tries to be helpful by matching on what it thinks I want instead of what I actually want. That plus the ads and all the other junk
We could vote/comment on the existing issue to potentially get it on a priority list
When you say “have a shadow person” are you missing the word “seen” there or do you mean some kind of ownership or possession?
If you can handle the newspaper in question and the vile website layout, this gives a good example: https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/weird-news/man-saw-ufo-shadow-people-25937329
I have moved from 100% Reddit before this month to around 75% Lemmy (via Wefwef) and 25% Reddit. And I see this continually moving towards more Lemmy, less Reddit over time
Agreed in full. There should be some kind of space theme given the new name, which some of the Apollo inspired icons are kind of missing
VSCode usually, Xcode when working with Apple platforms specifically
Yep same here too
Awesome! Working like a charm. Such a minor feature but one of my most missed things from Apollo as I use the search quite often
For me it’s because I want to do my small bit to help get people off Reddit, by seeing more active communities here
Yeah I can reproduce it quite often when trying to scroll vertically “too soon” / before a horizontal transition has finished (although it definitely feels like I should be able to scroll vertically at that point)
iPhone 14 Pro Max here, running latest Wefwef (updated it just a few mins ago but can’t check the version number as I type this - EDIT it’s 0.12.0)
Tapping the posts tab has a similar effect and can be super useful to navigate backwards in jumps - I’d love to see the standard tap at the top UX too though
I’ve only tried Wefwef so far (as far as Lemmy goes) but it’s basically so good and so familiar feeling that I’m not sure I feel the need to try anything else
30 mins in and I’ve set up a Lemmy account, logged into Wefwef, added a bunch of subscriptions and now it’s about 85% like I’m still using Reddit. Amazing, and considerably better than I could have hoped for
Wefwef is a game changer. My Reddit departure has just gotten 100x easier
Congratulations! And thank you for all the hard work!
