how much potential money I’ve lost by letting my money stagnate
It’s not just potential gains that’s being lost, you’re very much losing wealth to inflation by doing this.

If you’re in the US, should probably avoid it like the plague tbh. They have the proven capacity to make any situation infinitely worse.
Gross.
Not Lemmy, but mbin instance fedia.io doesn’t have any of that nonsense.
Does Wire still store metadata on who you message? That seems potentially more damaging than Signal’s phone number requirement, at least since the switch to being able to hide your number from everyone.
I wonder if separating relevant/irrelevant & like/dislike into two votes would have any success. Quite likely it would not, but might be worth trying.
So then that lower metabolism stuff isn’t true?
No, it’s not. Just a coping mechanism for people to feel better about not being able to stick to a diet necessary for weight loss. Calories in, calories out. Maintaining a calorie deficit (i.e. consuming less than you burn) is what results in weight loss.
Absolutely not; and everyone attaching their actual identity to it are insane imo.
Just go with GrapheneOS. Nothing else is even remotely close tbh.
It’s significantly better than all other options either way. Anyone who cares at all about privacy/security and can, should, in my opinion.
Risk of Rain & Risk of Rain 2 are a couple of my favorites. Have sunk a fuck load of hours into 2 over the years. Mostly solo, but multiplayer is great fun as well imo.
isn’t the alternative that they must pay everything from tax revenue and therefore be raising taxes more often?
Yes, and that would be a good thing in that those in the seats of power would be forced to convince people that expenditures are necessary and in there own interests.
One prominent example would be the US government being able to start and fund an unlimited number of wars. A direct tax to fund killing brown people halfway around the world is kind of a hard sell, so the source of funding is instead abstracted away via a hidden tax and debt.
You are quite likely to regret going down this route. Should do what you have to to get the drives properly connected.

Yeah, probably. The fact that you use mullvad is exposed to your financial institution, but as long as mullvad doesn’t keep logs (which has been legally tested to show that they do not), I don’t think it really matters all that much for most people.
