I don’t know how the technical implementation will work, but here is a post I found.
The idea is that you transfer money from the bank to your device, just like withdrawing cash from an ATM. Transferring money from one wallet to another should be able to be offline.
It seems like privacy is a priority, if only to satisfy privacy groups and improve acceptance.
Recently read an ELI5 of the digital euro and was pleasantly surprised. If it works as designed, you can perform offline payments from one device to another, which sounds like your use case. No central servers, no blockchain.
Can’t recommended DE enough, and for that price it’s a must buy.
My backlog has reached that point where I need to be a responsible adult and finally beat some games, so this time I’ll pass.
But the PS games like Horizon: Zero Dawn are tempting.
David Cage understandably gets a lot of flak, but the Quantic Dreams games aren’t actually bad at all. I’ve played Fahrenheit, Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls and Detroit. And while they aren’t top-tier excellent, they were all memorable.
Yep, OP uses his Switch way more than expected. The Deck is an extremely flexible device in a similar form factor. I’ve been able to beat so many games in my backlog with it, just excellent.

Apart from that it’s somewhat politically questionable, based in Dubai (I think), with dubious financial backing and Russian developers. Because it’s closed source and the encryption is proprietary, there’s no way of knowing how much info it leaks.
IIRC, In this case the teacher tried to get smart ass Gauss shut up for a bit so he could teach the other students. It was only Gauss that had to solve the problem.

Enter the Void is the most breathless barrage on the senses I have ever wittnessed. The intro could give you epilepsy. The whole film is shot from the ego perspective of the protagonist that gets shot dead 15 minutes into the film. I have never seen anything remotely similar.

It’s a BMW K75 that’s been standing around for about 10 years, an inline 3 with injection and shaft drive. I’m hoping it won’t need much more than new tires, fluids and filters. But even if it turns out cheaper than a newer bike, I’m not sure if a resucitated old bike like that is the best choice starting out.
Ever since my father passed I’ve got his old motorcycle standing around. So first thing would be a driver’s license for motorcycling. But I’m already taking classes so that’s that. And the biggest lesson is what a money sink this hobby can be.
Then I’ll need a motorcycle - either get the old thing working again or get a new one. Or why not both? Because the old one’s 30 years old and doesn’t have ABS.
And the third thing would be a Bambu Lab P1 3d printer. I don’t need the speed but damn do they look good.

I saw a shirt sometime saying something like “At a certain age, you have to give birth to new friends.” While it wasn’t exactly like that, we made a lot of friends through our kids and their schoolmates or sports activities.
Maybe it’s midlife crisis, but I’ve decided to get a motorcycle now that I’m pushing 50. Turns out, I can easily spend 3500€ for my gear and classes before even getting a bike!
Who knows, maybe OP is playing competive PVP in the browser on his phone?
