Yep. On kbin I think any user can too.

I know the area has been populated by Jews, Christians, and Muslims for as long as there have been Jews, Christians, and Muslims. Everybody doesn’t always get along but it wasn’t until the late 40s that countries began expelling large amounts of people based on religion or ethnicity.
It only means genocide to Israelis because they can only fathom Israel as a mono-ethnic state with all others genocided. Anyone supporting a free and united Palestine supports the multicultural community that has been in the area for millennia.
I think you mean street runoff
It’s pretty hypocritical that the US gets mad about Chinese overseas bases when the US has bases in every corner of the earth, including an entire ring around China.
The problem I have with that kind of argument is that the US has historically been rather authoritarian, and has supported and installed extremely authoritarian governments in other countries. The US also has a history of state terrorism, invading countries and committing g war crimes to enforce their political wills onto foreign populations. That doesn’t excuse Russia or China, but the notion that the US isn’t also a major authoritarian power or is otherwise categorically different is nonsense.
Your argument is that the US has supported genocide for many years so why bother stopping, which is pointlessly defeatist and amoral.
The US funds and arms Israel, which they use to enforce their apartheid, a kind of segregation, as well as carry out the genocide of Palestinians. Biden enthusiastically supplies these weapons knowing they are used to kill innocent civilians every single day.
China is the renewable energy capital of the world, the speed they’re building this all with is insane. Meanwhile the US is just banning Chinese imports because domestic alternatives are uncompetitive.
This seems kinda reasonable for what it is? It’s not the usual kiosk device that other companies have tried, it is just a touchscreen on the top of a cylindrical speaker. Probably will let you access most of the same controls already present but now with a UI capable of giving better feedback.
You don’t need to wonder, Apple has said as much that their AI is built on LLMs, just like everybody else. While hallucinations are still a major unsolved problem, that doesn’t mean they aren’t able to be reduced in frequency and severity. A ChatGPT like chatbot is going to hallucinate because you’re asking it to give extremely open ended responses to literally any query. The more data you feed it in the prompt, and the more you constrain its output, the less likely it is to hallucinate. It’ll likely be extremely rare that using the grammar check or rephrasing tools in Apple AI will be affected by hallucinations for that reason. Siri is more comparable to ChatGPT with regards to open ended questions, but it’s likely that they will integrate LLMs primarily for transforming inputs and outputs rather than the whole process. For example, the LLM could be prompted to call a function based on the user’s query. Then, that function finds a reliable result, either using existing APIs for real time information like weather, or using another LLM with a search engine. The output from this truth-finding process is then fed back into an LLM to generate the final output. The role of the LLM is heavily constrained at every step of the way, which is known to minimize hallucinations.
You arguing that this is an unsolvable problem is defeatist and not helpful to actually mitigating the real issue.
At this point I hear “antisemetic” and just have to assume that the speaker is pro-genocide and assume little about the person they are talking about.
Genocider acts in bad faith and won’t willingly stop genocide. More at 11.
As a person who has been managing Linux servers for about a decade now, trust me that a few hours or days of learning docker now will save you weeks if not months in the future. Docker makes managing servers and dealing with updates trivial and predictable. Setting everything up in docker compose makes it easy to recover if something fails, it’s it’s self documenting because you can quickly see exactly how your applications are configured and running.
Could you actually cite a law that roughly describes what you are claiming?
That blog is a gross simplification and is not authoritative. Most of the time, you probably want to register your car in your state of residency, but if you scroll down just a tiny bit there are a whole list of states that allow you to register a car as a non-resident. All states respect cars registered in the other states, so if the vehicle is licensed and insured in one state and you have a valid personal drivers license, I see no reason why that wouldn’t work.
Are you though? Your license needs to be for your own state, but I’ve never read anywhere that this applies to car registrations.
To whatever extent that terrorism and war are separate, it’s only a way for those in power to tell uninformed people which violence to support or who to hate. “We’re going to war to bring freedom” vs “Those terrorists are attacking the [colonial] government!”
Looks basically the same as the previous gen. I guess it’s marginally thinner?
Not gonna lie, I’m impressed that some region-specific company in India figured it was worth their time and effort to try posting an advertisement on Lemmy.
