Maybe a “federated” approach would be, if results are rate limited -> send query to another trusted searx instance -> receive the results and send back to user. My hot take is that racist bullies should be able to be punched/physically retaliated against by their victims without their victims being punished. When you take away the one avenue to retaliate against bullies when the schools never help, you breed more resentment and quiet anger and enables the bullies when the victims get punished from self defense.

Definitely a pretty niche thing but it’s a growing community. We don’t show up much on the internet because of the privacy-focused thing; we don’t really frequent twitter, etc, although some do.
