There’s admittedly some potential in there, like teaching them to analyse statistics and ‘teaching critical thinking’ whatever that implies.
Conspiracy theory belief however is emotional rather than rational. You cannot ‘teach’ people to not do it. I worry that they will condition kids to dismiss any news that deviates from official propaganda by just labelling them as conspiracies. And frankly with the UK being the police state that it is, that might just be the end goal.
This is rich, coming from the government that labels pro-palestine protestors as extremists and antisemites ( yes I’m aware that the government changed, but looks like the new ones are more than happy to continue the policies ).
To my knowledge, they already declared the nazi salute illegal in germany ( for good reason too ). Maybe they should ban this one too. And then maybrle the next evil symbol some other terrorist org might come up with. Slippery slope, no? Besides, the problem with creating a diplomatic incident out of some racist footballer’s gesture is that you’re legitimizing the terrorists, you’re telling them “yes your organization is relevant enough for us to notice and create a ruckus about it”.

Grey Markets are often done by credit card scammers which results into chargebacks by the credit institute resulting in processing fees for the producer of the game or even getting them cc banned.

I wouldn’t. There was a dev ( I forget which game, but def indie ) that said the pirated keys from those dodgy sites actually ended up costing them money, and they would’ve been happier if people just pirated the game instead if they really didn’t want to pay for it.

I find it hilarious that they had to cherry pick some two-word sentences from those people to try and squeeze in the point, because otherwise their texts would’ve sounded more nuanced and we can’t have that in a hard-working society.
What is worrying though, is that europe’s share in the global market is shrinking, because at this point pretty much only they ( and to a lesser degree the US ) try to uphold somewhat higher ethical standards for the various industries. At this rate the world will be all abused workers and underwhelming products in just a couple decades.
Western countries’ relationship with russia may be more relaxed and allow for making ammends, but for any country in the east there was never a time in the past centuries when russia has not behaved lile a bully. Heck, ask any ww2 survivor in eastern europe and they’ll tell you the russian “liberator” soldier was just a pillaging and raping piece of shit, and this was when they were technically not the occupier. And this before you start discussing the horrors of russian communist imperialism. I think its quite justified to think they should not be invited to any ww2 commemorations or allowed to act like they are part of “the good guys”.

Looks like I’ll be bringing in the unpopular opinion. I did love the production quality and the CGI, and it looks like they really did the lore justice with lots of references, easter eggs and music, but honestly I find the rest of it meh. The cast is mediocre ( with the exception of Goggins’ Cooper and the occasional secondary character ), the characters are pretty flat and uninspired, and the action scenes are just…strange ( watching the fight between the T60 and the yaoguai was like reliving 60s era star trek fight scenes ). The whole thing feels very videogame-y(?) I guess. But whereas the videogames can get away with it because they’re interactive, here you’re stuck watching the same unlikeable characters hours on end, and to be frank I’m having a hard time getting past the first half of the season.
This is potentially the worst possible outcome for this whole debacle. And in the end the true beneficiaries of a schengen accord - romanian/bulgarian businesses that ship by truck - will get the shaft. Oh, and this whole scandal plays right into russia’s hands, as this will fuel serious anti-eu sentiment in romania.

You might be able to run it ok. My 1660 basic manages 20-30fps on medium-high and 30+ on mostly low settings. The game still desperately needs some optimization, that’s for sure.
I used to be in the same boat as you, pretty hopeful that Starfield will be the space game to replace Elite for me. But the more I read about it, the more I realize it can’t.
