I don’t have a lot of love for Newsome the person (he just oozes greasy politician), but he is a good politician. I generally find him to be a good governor in alignment with my bleeding heart liberal views most of the time. He has the look, is younger, speaks well, and is smart so I think he passes the eye test for president. I think he’d be a slightly lefter leaning president than Biden which is probably as far left as we’re going to be able to elect in this country right now.

Their is no way fetterman would get a real presidential run, between the stroke and the mental health issues he wouldn’t hold up as a candidate. I like the guy I just can’t see him surviving (in the candidate sense) as a Presidential candidate. That being said I hope he stays in politics for a long time.
