I like your second point, I had never thought of it this way. It’s like when your parents call you by your full name. You know you are in trouble.

Oh look at you with your fancy magnet!
I bought god of war on sale. Never played it. And couldn’t get a refund because I was outside the window. Shame on me for having adult responsibilities and not knowing that nvidia were going to remove it from GeForce now. :(
What annoys me about webcams is that they could have easily used the power line to the camera to light the LED. Then if the camera was on the light would be on.
But for some reason the LED is enabled separately from the camera, so it can be hacked through software that the camera is on but LED is off. Leading to a lot of paranoia. It’s just a non sensical design choice.
Do what I do. Tell them to hold on while I look it up. Put the phone down for 10 mins. Then after 10 minutes tell them the answer. Make it longer and longer until they bug someone else.
We had an old pioneer sound system which had a big volume knob. You could turn it by hand but if you used the remote it would turn when you turned volume up and down. Possibly these are similar where they automatically tune and turn but allow for manual interaction in case of emergency.

Define the expectations of how many patients you need to care for in one hour. Since there is more than one employee they can’t say you need to attend to all patients. So count all the patients, divide by the number of workers. And attend to that many in an hour.
Then you won’t be overworked and management can’t say you aren’t doing your job.
I get the feeling that China is slowly taking over Russia in the background. They probably don’t want to do an overt takeover.
Yeah you need to just read back into the history of Atari
Yeah. Must try out the remaster!
One airline now charges for carry on. Checking in a small bag is free!
Some are just wilfully ignorant…
Our local multi storey car park burnt down because a (ICE) vehicle caught fire. It had a known recall for years, with a free fix from manufacturer, but the owner never brought it back. The owner ended being liable for the cost to repair the multi story due to their inaction.
Just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should. Politically it may cause issues. Diplomacy is usually the best route.
Yes but we need to convince more to get out and vote left.
Yes because only 4 years ago you voted in a right wing candidate. “I keep turning left then turning right, why aren’t I going left?!?!”
You are correct. People expect big sweeping changes and are upset when it doesn’t. What people need to realise is that it’s like a rudder on a giant ship. If you keep voting left then you slowly move left. Which also means any time the right wins we stay on course or move further right.
People need to take a long term view.
Try Emby. Hardware acceleration works out of the box. It is paid though but I’m very happy with it for past few years.
Interesting point, I might start doing this. Challenge myself to find more inventive words to express myself.
