How would we be able to tell?
the issue with God is that its presence equates power with morality
I can’t agree with this enough. My sister, a Christian, even agrees. Things are “good” and “bad” because god says they are, and for no other reason. And god is the highest good simply because he said that he is. The reason he gets to make those rules is that he’s the most powerful.

Boy, have I got news for you!

I had a not-husky (mixed, I think she was mostly Australian shepherd) who would make “husky” sounds all the time. We always figured she was raised around huskies or something. Anyway, she was silly and adorable, and I hope I get to meet a husky someday because they sound awesome.
On that note, here’s a somewhat relevant song :)
/s? I’m guessing so, but you can never be sure out here lol.
If not /s, then why?
Ah, that answers the first question. Thanks! :)
Yo can somebody tell me what this means/why it’s so heavily downvoted?
My bad, thought you were genuinely asking
If the wikipedia page is accurate: some pedophiles are only attracted to children ("exclusive pedophiles), but some are also attracted to adults; and not all pedophiles commit rape.
I’ll bet he thinks forced marriage to said rapist is a Great Healing Agent too. (He’s never advocated this as far as I know, and I’m not trying to put words in his mouth. But c’mon, we gotta Bring Back the Nuclear Family, no?)
I would say it’s a combination of swing voters and voter turnout. Some people can be convinced to switch sides, and others just need to be convinced to participate.
One might even say,
‘we’ll regulated’
Can you imagine the chaos if SCOTUS took a second look at the 2nd amendment (in the original document, for some reason… just go with it) and found an apostrophe?
It’s been chilling there since 1789. How is this the first time somebody noticed it? What tf is “a we’ll regulated militia” supposed to entail?? What will be the rippling effects on the state of national politics???
Find out on the next episode of Alternate History by a Pedantic Loser on Lemmy! (I’m sorry)
Good point!!
Apparently whales are ~36°, about the same as humans. I’m not a biologist or anything, but I wonder why they maintain such a high body temperature, considering how difficult that is in the ocean lol.
Still, I wouldn’t be surprised if the milk is quite a bit colder by the time it gets to the baby.
Here’s, uh… definitely the strangest youtube video I’ve watched this week, but I thought it was interesting. ¯\(ツ)/¯
