I love them both but, if I’m being super-critical, then I’d say that Part II has better pacing and therefore “wins” on a standalone basis. If the new cut addresses this, then I might be open to a re-evaluation.
I’m not sure what - if any - practical application it has, but it’s extremely impressive nevertheless.

I just had a look and, over the 9 years or so I’ve had it, I’ve played nearly 3000 games. I may have a problem.

Exactly what I did. I added a handful of niche subs as RSS feeds to a reader just so I can keep up on stuff that I have no other way of seeing, but otherwise Reddit is died for me on 30th June
I’m fine with this, as long as it translates to significantly better battery life.

I’ve done exactly the same thing. I’m now exclusively consuming Reddit via the Reeder rss app and I’ve cut my usage down by about 80% I’ll be honest that I’m missing the Apollo experience a lot more than you seem to be, but it’s provided me with a method of weaning myself off the site and is much rather that than have to just go cold turkey when I delete my account on 30th June
As true as this is, the overwhelming majority of people also have no concept of how email works.
