Was it that Asian women who did mukbangs where she was eating live sea animals? She didn’t just eat them alive, she was actually torturing them. Stuff like taking the “outer layer” off of them (multiple ones at the same time), dipping them in sauce and then just letting them sit. She was also laughing about it. Made me so angry watching that.

Have the same issue on one of my accounts. I can login but when I try to do anything, I need to verify by getting a code over SMS. The thing is, the phone number on that account is an old one I don’t have access to anymore. There is no other verification option, I can’t delete it from my account without verification and I’m definitely not adding my actual number.

Idk about that. What data could they get with that, that they can’t already get through other (cheaper) means, that would justify all the network traffic and storage space?

I’m going to finish school soon and I want to drive a car when I have a job and can afford it. I’ve used public transportation for the past 3 years and will probably still use it in the future when it’s not too inconvenient but a 30 min drive to work taking 1 hour instead, where I spend 30 minutes just waiting, sucks. This weekend I drove to a friend. It would have taken 30 minutes by car but it took me 2 hours with public transport because I had to wait a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes. The issue isn’t public transportation itself but that the government was trying to save as much money as possible and it is getting better with the new government but there is still so much to do and it will take time.

My drivers license. Now I’m 19 and still need to do it.

But I think espeak doesn’t sound that great. There is probably better open source TTS now.

It’s really cool how a lot of Laptops nowadays (including mine) have a feature built-in that covers and disables the webcam with a button press. I can have it disabled most of the time and when I need it, I just press the button to enable it.

That’s really cool. I also heard about a Skyrim mod that does this too and since I’m playing Skyrim in VR (modded ofc) that would make it even cooler.

Are you trying to play the video on the Pi itself? Aren’t you using Jellyfin to watch it on other devices?

The UnifiedPush standard is actually so simple, I don’t think a company could even make that proprietary if they wanted to. You need to keep in mind that it’s not sending the notification contents but just that there is a notification for a specific app.

I definitely agree that it’s best when apps support all methods, so UnifiedPush, running in the background and Firebase (that one just for the Google Play build). That way you can use whatever is best for you.

That’s basically what I meant, he was the main villain in the beginning, after all. Didn’t think about that this would kinda spoil it tho.

But there’s also UnifiedPush. If apps used that, you could just selfhost that server. A lot of open source apps do use it. I, for example, have a phone with MicroG and I didn’t enable cloud messaging. I also have a Nextcloud server, where I installed the UnifiedPush provider and I use NextPush on my phone as the UnifiedPush app. Works great and that way a lot of apps I have don’t need to run in the background constantly.

Big breakthroughs are still made when it comes to efficiency (so same or better quality for less processing power) and game devs will probably figure out how to best instruct the LLM to do what they want over time. I think there’s still a lot that will happen in that regard in the next few years until it starts to slow down.
