True I think there was a big gap somewhere in the years between when o.g. 2.5d retro shooters like Doom, Blood, and Hexen players got used to moving with mouse look, and the people who played shooters like Quake, UT and counterstrike back in 2000-2005 where we aimed with the mouse and strafe run with the left and right keyboard buttons.

A few other hidden gems back in the day that I never got around to playing until years later after their prime time was probably Descent, System Shock and also AvP.

No Quake was a real level up from Doom, at least graphics wise.

Though I actually preferred the sprite graphics for smaller monsters, what I reckon would have been cool is if we could have a retro reboot of Doom 2 but with Quake style 3d monsters for mini bosses, and a whole Hexen remix/mashup but with UT style grenades and low gravity jumps and stuff

I don’t think either of them cares much about the middle east or Israel much. If anything they both look at Benjamin the same way Xi looks at the DPRK guy.

Hey man, just look at China, the much darker truth is that in many parts of the world, senile old men run things, your freedom, dreams and purpose is largely meaningless to them unless they’re very close to you or you’ve shown that you also care about their freedom and the well-being of their future offspring.

For a lot of older people, a certain cynicism comes with wisdom, and you’re just like everyone else, a cog in the wheels of a big system. For America and China, where in many parts it’s essentially still a mafia state, this is even more pronounced for people that come into positions of power at an older age as they’re even more experienced at the real life equivalent to GTA politics.

The only real upside is that it’s not as bad as the middle east still but hey that’s a low bar for most that consider war and civil society to be two separate states of existence

I had something similar to this after a good trip, but the dark version where nothing matters until it hits you, then spent next few years where my déjà vu and empathy kept breaking through ceilings in its way going up

Now imagine the next big movie, the transporter but next level badass, with beards, tattoos, swords, guns and straight up ICI the killer levels blood and Michael bay camera works. All in some middle eastern version of Bruce Lee but where the main character winds up fighting terrorists, Rambo, some random corrupt guy, his friends asshole neighbor and a whole gang of dudes who are all rapists or something strange like that, then there’s some GTA bad guys, some Russian mobster guy, the Wagner guys, then the final boss is like Bin Ladens paedophile friend/cousin whose secretly an o.g traitor, and also an MMA fighter, a kamikaze pilot and a bomb maker guy who has an entire harem of children and even a secret chapel hidden in the mountains where he prays to an evil alternate Allah for more children or something.

The lore combined with the action would be enough to make a whole trilogy of badass

Bro, you can’t seriously expect one guy can’t fix everything. Just look at all the wars in the middle east, if China keeps their nose out of it, you don’t say a thing, but Biden says he’s hands off, you play the white burden card.

If he’s given money to Israel to sort things out, that might be on the assumption that being one of the premier democracies in the region, they’d lead by example, if he’s wrong technically he’s done nothing, he’s only given money, money being the closest thing to freedom. If anything he’s more responsible than Trump and others before him including Bush, he’s not going around planting fascist suggestions or starting wars in the middle east, he’s simply allowing truth and freedom to prevail while standing his ground.

It’s called federalism. It provides everyone the most freedom and follows both republican thinking in small government, less bureaucratic paperwork for the top, and more democratic policy making.

eg. if you live in a state where there’s a huge meth problem, but no marijuana problem it doesn’t make sense to be telling cops to keep chasing the one stoner in town or to go after some asian guy who just looks suspicious for wearing sunglasses.

Allowing for state by state discretion also means that the DEA and local police can be free to collect more targeted and detailed information to hunt who is producing more suffering.

I feel like impairment should be based on eye movement, motor movement, reaction time and focus, like how quickly you can readjust a knob to 1.1v after while someone’s eating chips or blasting a siren next to you. If your getting it done in under 1 minute your fine, but if you take over one minute to do it you may or may not be stoned as fuck, but your definitely incapacitated in some form.
