I’m so sick of companies taking every opportunity to be egregiously shitty in the name of profit.

The sun could be gone but its influence would remain. Kinda like getting out of a pool and looking back to see the waves on the surface that you caused.
Universal healthcare is not a priority for the Democratic party as a whole despite their voters’ pleas for it. Still only a few outliers in the party seem to advocate for it. Biden himself has been reluctant to embrace it.
And I don’t remember student loan forgiveness being an especially popular platform before Biden took office. Sure it’s helped a lot of people but it feels very much like a, “we’ll take what we can get” policy versus something we’ve been asking for over decades.
“This kind of leadership is functionally useless to the American people.”
It’s been that way for a long time now. Frankly, I can’t think of a single agenda the Democratic party has rallied behind in recent memory that isn’t not being a Republican. The Democratic leadership is useless, that’s just been better than the malicious alternative.
Edit: I’m getting responses referencing Biden policies or those that are advocated for by a few outspoken Dems. These are not what I’m referring to. The Democratic party as a whole has no message, no mission, no agenda seemingly other than “patch up the damage that the Republicans leave”. No wonder Democratic voters aren’t motivated, we’re not being represented we’re just voting to slow the inevitable decay.
They also cause fires, severely injure and kill people, trigger people with PTSD, frighten animals and disrupt local wildlife.

Three months and one week still seems like a clean quarter to me.
Alternatively, if we really want to stick to the three-month quarter then we could call the extra week of each quarter an off-week or save it all for the 13th month of the year since nothing really gets done during that time anyway.
I’ve got two monitors which mostly ends up meaning I have twice the amount of screen to lose application windows in.
Somebody on RuneScape back in the early 2000s threatened to report me if I didn’t tell them my password and so I reluctantly told them and immediately got locked out of my free, low level account :-(
Not to mention the fusion reaction triggered by an FTL foot connecting with said child’s backside would annihilate both parent and child immediately.
The two party system isn’t the rule as much as it is a symptom of our winner-takes-all voting system. In the event that the Republican party loses significant support from voters, the Democratic party would surely split into two polar factions.
I bought a Valve Index two years ago, had fun with it for a couple weeks, then never used it again :-\
Not the original commenter but for me it was that they didn’t integrate well into my multi-device management platform and instead required you to use Sonos’s platform and products to play on multiple devices. The sound was decent but I only had one and it didn’t work with my other speakers so it rarely got used.
It’s cold outside, there’s no kind of atmosphere!
They thought she was going to endorse Biden at the end of the Super Bowl and that the White House had rigged the game for the Chiefs to win in order to maximize the spectacle and coverage.
I briefly skimmed over that page you linked so apologies if I missed something, but I didn’t see anything in there that implied you are under any obligation to answer questions from an officer. The officer has the right to detain you and in most cases you must comply with an officer’s orders, for example to step out of the vehicle, submit to a search, etc.
However, the 5th amendment of the US Constitution protects citizens from being compelled to offer self-incriminating information. In other words, the officer cannot order you to answer a question.
Again, IANAL and this is not legal advice.
IANAL and it’s best to know and understand the laws of the state that you’re in. But in general you’re under no obligation to answer any questions a cop has for you and you’re not being rude or difficult by simply saying nothing at all. If a cop actually wants to help you they can do so by promptly giving you a citation and letting you go on about your day, not by trying to pry on your personal opinions or activities.
