All animals are much better looking than people. Just accept defeat. :) We are pink apes.
Kagi is making some money by providing value that Google can’t. I’m not sure if it would be enough for mozilla, but Kagi is making a profit now.
Sadly, both of these companies still depend on Google.
People can rise up at any time and start destroying the machines that guard them.
It’s not bad enough yet but at some point, people won’t accept it anymore. Probably when they have almost nothing left to fight for.
Oh here he is again, talking AI AI AI… Their stock value is already so high it will take over 50 years for it’s value to match it’s current price.
Phones are ridiculously expensive now. I was always buying the best phone growing up, but now it’s absolutely not worth it. People pay for great cameras, essentially, and then post most of their pics on social media where they are compressed and converted from the original image anyway.
A colleague was talking about this game yesterday. Appearently it’s quite fun.
Thank you!
Alright. Want a reward? :)
Yeah I can understand if you play it for the story, then it’s annoying to not be able to continue easily. Good point.
Literally all my downvotes are from people with different options. This is a huge echo chamber. I rarely insult anyone and I’m always polite. I don’t believe vaccinations are safe for everyone since there are side effects, and I think each person should make their own decision about them. I don’t think gender issues are the most important thing in the world.
These are controversial opinions on this platform. :) And I get a lot of downvotes for those opinions when they show up. Not that I care, because I just ignore it. But in the larger picture, it makes people leave the platform.
Why should they stay? I think Lemmy needs to have a good reason to be used. Memes won’t be enough.
I still like the idea of a platform without big tech though. I just think most people don’t realize what makes people stay on a platform. It’s not memes.
I think because we have mostly memes and any discussion is just won by downvoting your opponent. :)
I’m half serious… The platform right now is lacking actual discussions. Everyone seems to just like memes.
I bought high end graphics cards from amd because I game under Linux, and Nvidia drivers are crap there. Or at least used to be, they are supposed to be improved now? But I already left that camp…
Lol this is actually true.
I used to like difficult games growing up. Felt like it was something worth playing for. If it’s too easy, what’s the point of just running through the game without any obstacles…
That’s right, Virtuous American Sun Energy before Dirty Commy solar beams. :p
Sure. It’s very welcome. I guess the west will find it hard to say that solar cells are spying on us but we will see :)
It’s true today that you can easily drive your entire home on solar power, but only if you live in a sunny country. If I was, I would install them immediately. They will pay back in like 5 years and after that, energy costs are zero.
I look forward to them becoming smaller and more efficient. In the future, we may be able to have glass that is made of solar panels, which means entire skyscraper buildings can charge their power continuously from the sun.
Terrorism will always exist, unfortunately.
