I think the democrats should nominate Trump, so the house GOP can tear itself apart deciding whether to vote for or against him.
Or offer to vote in a compromise candidate, then immediately file a motion to vacate the second he’s been elected, and have the GOP vote against their candidate again.
Then we’d be back to a world beyond satire, if we ever fully left it.
I find it’s important to have a sense of humor about these kinds of things. Stuff like resurgent fascism, a looming climate crisis, worsening inequality, or the increasing likelihood of nuclear war are a bit too much otherwise.
